BOTTOMsUP (BUP) is a recurring BDSM and fetish play party in Amsterdam, by and for FLINTA people (women, lesbians, intersex, non-binary, trans and agender people). The party creates a contained, sex- and kink-positive environment where participants can explore desire, power, intimacy, and embodiment through consensual play.
BUP centers marginalized genders and identities, with particular care for BIPOC and Latinx communities. The event is built around consent, communication, and community accountability, offering space for both experienced players and people who are new to BDSM and play parties.
BUP is intentionally structured to support grounding, orientation, and choice. Guests are invited to arrive, take time to settle in, connect socially, and decide how they want to engage with the space.
Participation is always optional. Guests may choose to play, observe, socialize, or simply be present without engaging in any play.
Each edition of BUP includes two Pleasure Corners. These are clearly designated play areas that support different forms of consensual BDSM and erotic exploration.
Pleasure Corners are designed to:
- Encourage intentional, negotiated play
- Offer visible and shared safety guidance to play environments
- Support learning through observation as well as participation
Play in the Pleasure Corners can include practices such as rope, impact play, sensation play, power exchange, and other consensual BDSM dynamics.
During the party, our Reference People will be present and identifiable. They are there to support guests, answer questions, and intervene if a situation feels unsafe or unclear.
Discrimination, harassment, and boundary crossing are not tolerated. Guests are expected to take responsibility for their actions and to contribute to a safer and respectful environment.
BOTTOMsUP is for FLINTA people who are curious about BDSM, fetish, and alternative forms of intimacy, whether socially, erotically, or politically.
There is no requirement to have experience, a partner, or a specific interest. Curiosity, respect, and willingness to engage with consent culture are essential.
Entry & practicalities
- Entry is ticket-based with limited capacity
- Guests are expected to familiarize themselves with the house rules before entering

House Rules
- Consent Always
- Every act must be consensual. If it’s not a clear yes, don’t do it.
- Don’t assume, ask. Pronouns, kinks, roles, body language. When in doubt, use gender-neutral language.
- Don’t touch or interrupt anyone during a scene without permission.
- Safe Play Practices
- Discuss boundaries and safe words before any play. Ask a reference person if you’re unsure.

- Drink responsibly. No drugs allowed.
- We do not tolerate any form of discrimination, harassment, or abusive behavior. Report

- If you see someone being uncomfortable, check in or notify a staff member.
- No blood, sharp, fire, or wax play
- For collective care and capacity reasons, these forms of play are not included.
